“If Nick could have the babies himself, then maybe,” Mariah joked about husband Nick Cannon. “Yea, bring ‘em on! We love kids.”
But the “#Beautiful” singer doesn’t take motherhood lightly. “Here’s the thing: I’m responsible for these children ‘til forever. So I look at it like, they didn’t ask for this lifestyle, [but] here they are. And it is so different than just being able to be like ‘OK, bye, I’m going here now...'”
We totally get it, Mimi. You are one of the best-selling artists of all time and you’ve got two toddlers running around. That’s plenty to balance already! And with how tough she had it during her first pregnancy, it’s no surprise she would be hesitant to put herself through that again.
“To anyone who’s ever carried twins, it is a totally different experience,” the songstress explained. “You don’t even know who you are … I had preeclampsia. I had gestational diabetes. I had a really difficult pregnancy, and I was alone most of the time.”
Aww! But what about her adoring hubby? Didn’t he help out? “We love Nick, but he’s working," she said. "He’s the hardest working man in show business.”
Though we’re sad there aren't any new Cannon babies on the horizon, at least we have the precious photos of Roe and Roc that Mariah so often shares on her Instagram. Thanks, Mimi!
