Remember back in ye olden days when Miley Cyrus was a carefree Disney princess whose most revealing fashion moment was wearing a bikini on the beach? Those good times are gone. Now Miley is less of a role model for tweenagers, and more a role model for people who think swinging around on a wrecking ball is all that.
This gal has transformed from a girl-next-door into a style icon who's famous for her provocative clothing (or lack thereof), and she's hardly what most people would consider a role model for 4-year-olds. Unless those 4-year-olds are Ali and Aleeah Messer, the twin daughters ofTeen Mom 2's Leah Messer who absolutely lovethemselves some Miley. Basically, they're Smilers.
"My daughters are obsessed with @MileyCyrus," Leah tweeted on January 15. "They are just too damn cute! #SorryNotSorry I love them so much!"
Who isn't obsessed with Miley Cyrus, right guys? Her music is super on-point lately, and we definitely appreciate the fact that she's bringing back the bowl haircut. But is Miley a little toomature for Ali and Aleeah? Last time we checked, kids their age were into Barney and The Carebears — not Hollywood's most notorious wrecking ball.
There's no question that Miley's current image is a bit provocative (more power to her), but we're not exactly sure she's the best person for a couple of preschoolers to look up to.
