On the Teen Mom 2 season five premiere, Leah Calvert revealed that her daugher Ali has a rare form of muscular dystrophy that worsens as she grows. Despite little Ali's diagnosis, there is always hope and things are looking up for her and her family."Eventually, Ali could be in the chair all the time," Leah revealed to Us Weekly "But I've never seen her so happy. She chases [twin] Aleeah and doesn't fall down anymore."
Since Leah spoke out, it seems like Ali may be making even more progess—and fast!
"How is Aliannah (?) Doing with her walking??" A fan asked Ali's grandpa Jeff Simms in which hereplied with enthusiasm, "She is almost running. We are so proud of her! #aligrace."
Ali is making a fast improvement and with hope and prayers from the family's millions of fans, Ali can continue in good health.
"God is good and he will keep on helping Ali," Jeff retweeted. "Angel of hope."
