The moment we've been waiting for has finally arrived. After more than two years spent rocking a mouth full of metal, Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry has officially had her braces taken off. Hallelujah!
This blonde bombshell made the brave decision to get adult braces back in December 2012, and opted for Damons — a snazzy brand that are slightly less noticeable due to their translucence. As you might expect, Kailyn hated her braces with a passion (despite referring to them as "mouth jewelry" for a few months) and she's thrilled to show off her pearly whites and perfect smile!
"They're off!" she tweeted excitedly on January 30. "NO MORE BRACES. CANT STOP SMILING."
Kailyn looks absolutely gorgeous, and she's beaming from ear-to-ear! And by the way, this girl isn't the only member of the Teen Mom Mafia who's excited about her new look…
Kailyn's husband, Javi Marroquin, also hopped on Twitter to share the good news, tweeting, "No longer have to date a 10 year old after this appointment. Hopefully her braces come off today! You're still beautiful tho!"
Amen to that. But guys? We're feeling slightly forlorn. Kailyn's braces have been with her through so much — her second pregnancy, her wedding, her giant tattoos. Life just won't be the same without these glistening pieces of metal blinding us every time we look at Twitter!
