'Fast & Furious 7' Gets New Release Date, Will Include Paul Walker

The death of Paul Walker devastated his loved ones, colleagues, and fans, but even while mourning Walker, the people behind the "Fast & Furious" franchise had to figure out the most sensitive and pragmatic way to finish the seventh movie that was already in production. Filming was put on hold, and the future of the movie was in question, but perhaps more importantly, Walker's "Fast & Furious" family was shocked and in mourning.

On Sunday, Vin Diesel shared a photo of himself and Walker in the last scene they filmed together, along with the announcement their film would come out in April 10, 2015.

Universal soon followed withan official statement that the two would "lead the returning cast." It will be interesting to see how the filmmakers will work around the devastating loss of Walker, especially given his huge role in the film versus how many scenes he'd shot before his death. Of course, the "Fast & Furious" film-making crew is known for a practical familial loyalty, so it makes sense that they'd want to keep as much as possible of what they'd shot with Walker in the movie.
